My client, a business support services organisation based in Ballito is currently recruiting for a Finance Clerk to join their team.

You will be responsible for assisting the Financial Team in various tasks, processing and troubleshooting , and attending day to day finance requests in the interest of the organisation.


  • Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance team
  • Create, send, and follow up on invoices
  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
  • Assist the financial team in creating financial reports on a regular basis
  • Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures
  • Review of invoices and statements, ensure that invoices compiled to the VAT act
  • Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives
  • Daily balancing of various payment streams
  • Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
  • Assist Accountants with Payroll


  • Diploma in Bookkeeping/Accounting/Finance or BCOM
  • Accounting Background – Account reconciliation and Vat
  • Fully Computer literate – Outlook, Excel, Word, Quickbooks
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Understanding of data privacy standards; integrity; honesty
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with business principles and practices
  • Critical thinking skills

  • 5 year solid financial experience
