My Client, a global market leading technology and services company that services the mining, oil and Gas and infrastructure sector is looking for a Branch Manager. Offering a great package which includes added incentive bonuses over and above the packages. Salary on offer R950 000 - R1 300 000 (negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications) This is an AA/EE role.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (mechanical / industrial / metallurgical / chemical) or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Valid Driver’s Licence

 

Minimum Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience with Mechanical and Process equipment
  • 8-10 years’ sales management experience

 

Key Tasks:

  • Manage all aspects of the Middelburg branch to ensure effective achievement of revenue targets Meet the budget set for the territory under your control
  • Provide relevant forecasts to support customer service levels
  • Support S&OP process
  • Maintain high level of customer service
  • Ensure stock holding and accuracy is within range for effective customer support
  • Increase in process engineering services offered to customers transforming the branch to a solutions provider
  • Provide technical assistance and after sales service to clients
  • Maintain existing clients and develop new business
  • Diversify the product offer to reduce business risk
  • Proactive in seeking growth in all products
  • Manage branch resources, e.g. staff, labour, stockholding, transport etc
  • Maximize service labour and profitability growing services and brownfields
  • Adhere to and ensure relevant SOP’s and work instruction are adhered to
  • Develop and implement sales strategy and plan, supporting necessary forecasts
  • Introduction of new products
  • Effective usage of Salesforce and Power BI and all sales systems 
  • Propose pumps and equipment for various applications
  • Identify growth opportunities for the product range
  • Observe company workflow procedures
  • Product refurbishment, repair and commissioning
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Timeously providing reports and data as required
  • Rationalisation of products and promote new Technology for the territory
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Drive and promote brownfields approach in the area serviced
  • Effectively manage all branch staff
  • Ensure adherence to all SHE and housekeeping requirements at the branch, customer sites and subcontractors where applicable
  • Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times
